1. Set Realistic Goals

As the cliche goes, Rome wasn’t built in a day. We recommend planning one week to 10 days to get your business completely up and running on the Glofox Dashboard, Member App, Website Portal and Facebook Integration. Our average setup times are:

  • Software: Minutes
  • Member App (Gold Package):  48 hours
  • Member App (Platinum Package): average approval time on the iOS App store is 2-3 days, whereas approval on the Android Play store takes just hours.
  • Website Portal: Less than one day.
  • Facebook or Social Integration: Less than one day

Don’t forget, the sooner you send across your logo and the images you would like to use for your customized app design, the quicker the setup time! We can also build out the website integration for your or work with your or any nominated web developer to optimize how Glofox is displayed on your website.

2. Spring Clean Your Member Data

Switching gym management software is a great opportunity to give your member data a good cleansing! We recommend that you put aside time to clear your database of any irrelevant information or inactive members, that could be causing inaccurate business reporting. 

We recommend that our new clients solely transfer their current members into Glofox and keep any remaining inactive or expired members in a mailing list for marketing purposes. Our integration with Mailchimp and Infusion Soft makes this really easy to do!

3. Make Training a Priority

Here at Glofox, we want you to have a phenomenal on boarding experience, so we offer our clients free training sessions. You’ll be assigned a dedicated account manager who will be your point of contact for support, questions and advice along your growth journey.  

Be sure to make training a priority for everyone involved in the switch to Glofox. You can schedule a training session with your whole team to overcome common queries together, or you can schedule 1:1 sessions so you can dig a little deeper. 4. Get Your Members Ready!

As soon as your Member App and Website Portal go live, encourage your members to download and register via the app. This way, you can ensure their details sync with data you’ve imported into Glofox software. 

5. Beware of Notice Periods

Most gym management software providers require a 30 day notice period prior to cancellation. Be sure to factor this into your switch over plans! 

It’s a great idea to start your transition to Glofox in this month as it’ll give you more time to get set up and become fully confident using the system. We have an online Knowledge Base to help you do just that!
